The Great Depression
I learned that the great depression started on Black Tuesday when the stock market crashed.When this happened this started a chain that keeps going around and gets worse every time around. When the stock market crashed, the companies fired employees leaving them jobless. Now with these people jobless, they couldnt buy the things they normaly bought, so the other companies went down and fired even more people, this chain went around and got worse every time around.
Some quotes from this movie that effected me were, the word CRASH! and other words on newspapers.
World War Two
I learned that World War 2 started after a series of events that the axis powers did to chalenge the rest of the world.
The United States entered the war in December 1941 in Pearl Harbor, an ttack from Japan on our ships and planes.One of the most devastating moments of World War Two was when our troops arives on a beach in France using U Boats and we were serverely attacked by Germans. This day is known as D Day. World War ended in 1945.
One Quote from the film was " Pearl Harbor Was A Devastating Day In US History" said the Narrator

The Unfinished Nation: Saints & Strangers
I learned about some difficult taskes that the Puritans went through after they got to Plymouth Rock in the year of 1620. The video talked about and showed a view of the colonial life and the early americans. It also showed religion, how people believed in God, churches, etc.. I learned about John Smith (which caught my attention sinse I am familiar of his name from the movie Pocahantas) and last, I learned about the MAYFLOWER COMPACT which was written by the people who landed in 1620 (It was an agreement)

The Great Depression
From this video I learned that the Great Depression all started because the stock market crashed. Later on because of this.. people started loosing buisnesses and jobs. People made less and less money as each day went on and many were becoming homeless because they could not afford the large payments. Every Depression starts with a recesion which people are saying were in one now. It was easier to learn from this video because we are almost hitting the stage where we might end up in a depression.
