Homework Assignments 1/17/2011 and 1/24/2011

Hello APUSHers:

Some announcements, and your assignments for the next two weeks, including your work for Regents week. Although we will not be in class, it is important that we stay current, and keep up with our readings/homework assignments.

Exams:
Friday January 21 - 75 questions multiple choice. Covering Civil War, Reconstruction, and the West. Study Guide to follow. In-Class. NO NOTES, NO PARTNERS.

Monday Night: Lecture Night. Click the links below for the lectures. Please complete the Lecture/Podcast Sheet for each lecture.

Tuesday Night: Podcast Tuesday. Complete one of the following. If you do both Podcasts, you get double HW credit. Please generate notes on the Podcast Sheet for each one that you do.

Assignments for the Week of 1/10/2011

Hello, APUSHers:

Here are your assignments for the week. As always, a few reminders.

1. Whether you are told to, or not, you should be reading at least 5-10 pages a night in this course. If you're not spending at least an hour a night on this course, and two to three hours on your studies in total, you need to start putting that time in to your studies.

2. By now, you should have established study groups.

3. Homework, and other assignments will not be accepted if they are late. Aside from a legal absence from school, no other exception to this rule will be made.

4. We're going to be going out of sequence, skipping over chapters 24 and 25, and going straight to ch. 26. After we complete ch. 26, we'll return to chapters 24 and 25.

QUIZ - FRIDAY on Chapter 23. 45 questions. Individual. No partners, no open-book.

Your mission is to choose TWO of the three podcasts, listen to them and complete a podcast worksheet. If you go the extra mile and do all three, you will receive double homework credit.
