HW Assignments Week of 2/26

Hello, APUSH'ers:

Here are your assignments for the week of 2/26/18.

Please note all due dates.  Please be advised that HW assignments which are not completed by due dates, will result in a grade of 55.

MONDAY NIGHT: 
1.  Complete all assignments from the week of 2/19.  

TUESDAY NIGHT: 
1. CLICK HERE for a link to Chapter 13 of the textbook, The Americans. 
2. READ: Section 1. 
3. Complete the Section 1 Guided Reading Questions.  You can access the GRQ's for this chapter, by clicking here.   Please note that you are only responsible for Section 1.  

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: 
1.  Read Section 2 
2.  Complete the Section 2 GRQ's

THURSDAY NIGHT:
1.  Read Section 3

2.  Complete the Section 3 GRQ's 

FRIDAY NIGHT:
1.  Read Section 4

2.  Complete the section 4 GRQ's
3.  Prepare for a test, Monday.  The exam will consist of questions based on this chapter, as well as Chapter 27 of The American Pageant.

2.  READ CHAPTER 26 of The American Pageant.  CLICK HERE for a link to the Chapter.  It's highly recommended that you read the outline of Chapter 26, which you can find by clicking here.  

***If you'd like to borrow a copy of TAP, please let me know ASAP, and you can sign one out***

3. Complete the Chapter 26 GRQ's 

4. Prepare for an EXAM on Chapter 26, on March 2. It will be very similar in format to the exam you will be taking, tomorrow.

HW Assignments Week of 2/12/18

Hello, All:

Here are your HW assignments for the week of 2/12/18.  Please be mindful of due dates.  It should be noted that students who choose not to complete their assignments by the due dates will receive a grade of 55.  Late work will only be accepted in the case of a LEGAL absence from school.

MONDAY NIGHT: 
1.  Watch John Green (Crash Course), "Growth Cities and Immigration." 
2.  Read pp. 482-487 in The Americans.  If you would prefer a hard copy of the book, please do not hesitate to ask.  You are more than welcome to borrow one! 
3. Answer the questions on the FIRST PAGE of the GRQ's that correspond to this textbook, and chapter section 

TUESDAY: 
1. Read pp. 488-491, "Expanding Public Education."  
2. Complete the questions on pp. 2-3 of the GRQ packet.  

WEDNESDAY: 
1. Read pp. 492-495, "Segregation and Discrimination."  
2. Complete the questions on p. 4 of the GRQ packet

HW ASSIGNMENTS WEEK OF 2/5/18

Hello, All:

Here are your HW assignments for the week of 2/5/18.  Please note due dates for the assignments.  If the assignments are not handed on the due dates, a grade of 55 will be given for that assignments.  Please remember that HW is worth 20% of your grade.

MONDAY NIGHT: 
Review, and revise your DBQ essay on Railroads.   You may handwrite, or type your essay.  It is due TUESDAY 2/6.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  

TUESDAY NIGHT: 
This assignment will probably take you at least an hour.   Please plan and budget your time accordingly.  
1.  WATCH BEFORE YOU READ.   
2. PRE-READ the Chapter, by reading the OUTLINE. 
READ pp. 595-607, in Chapter 25 of The American Pageant.   If you're looking for an outline of the chapter, CLICK HERE.

Locate the video, "America The Story of US: Cities," on YouTube, Vimeo, etc.  
Complete the worksheet we started in class, today.
