I think the concept of manifest destiny is over the top and crazy but its what made america america. The us was not justified because they kicked people out of there land and made them move west.

I believe that the concept of Manifest Destiny is wrong, however I feel that it was meant to happen. You can't just go somewhere and claim that it's yours, while other people clearly own it. But without the Manifest Destiny never happened, the country wouldn't be the way it is today. I think that the US was justified because they claimed that it was "God" telling them to expand. Our country wouldn't have 50 states if it wasn't for the Manifest Destiny and Western Expansion.

The concept of Manifest Destiny was the idea of settling west in hopes of gaining more land and power for the United States of America. This concept could have been carried out differently, therefore leading to less violence against Native Americans and years of conflict avoided. However, this was a necessary step to be taken for the expansion of the country, which could have been carried out differently. The US was not justified in expanding in this manner. There was no "god-given right" to kill thousands of innocent Native Americans.

I think the maifest destiny was a way to cover up the fact that The government is kicking the Indians out just because there is more land and gold if they wanted those thing i think they should of bought it of them like normal people but instead they just got rid of them like thre some kind of animals

The concept of manifest destiny was wrong towards the native people that were simply trying to hold on to the small amounts of land they had left. as well as to the animals and plant life that were harmed with the coming of American settlers and industrialization. The United States was not justified on a moral or religious sense, but on a economical and political sense the move was needed in the imperialist and industrial age.

The concept of manifest destiny was absurd and just plain wrong. America just wanted an excuse to use territory that they didn't own and take control. They took over Native American's land and got rid of them. To explain, this is no way to treat someone and just another explanation about how certain races were highly discriminated. Though, without eh manifest destiny, America today would not be the same.

I believe that the concept of the Manifest Destiny was both a positive and negative thing. It as good because its what made America the nation it is today and impacted a lot of people. It's negative because it invaded the Native American lands and they disobeyed the laws of Mexico and expansion. The US were justified to do this because the Manifest Destiny gave them the right to do it so it was allowed and was known as a god-given right.

The concept of Manifest Destiny was not a justified policy. It forced Native Americans to move and relocate westward, while the American people invaded and stole their land. However, Manifest Destiny helped expand the borders of the United States, which resulted in social, economical, and industrialization benefits for the country. Although this controversial concept receives mixed thoughts, you can't deny that it severely impacted American history in positive and negative ways.

I believe that Manifest Destiny was not justified. All it did was force Native Americans out of their land for Americas own benefit. Saying it was their God-given right is not very justifiable because God didn't tell them directly. It was just an excuse for more land because Americans wanted it and were greedy and inconsiderate.

The idea of "Manifest Destiny" was completely unjustified. The phrase that it was a "God Given Right" was just an excuse to take more land from the Native Americans. While it did bring many industrial and territorial advancements for the U.S., that still doesn't justify nearly killing an entire race of people.

I believe that the concept of manifest destiny was not justified. It was an action done by the people in the East to expand the Western territories. This basically kicked the Native Americans out of their land for their own goods. In the White people's view, this action was something okay to do. While, in Native's view this was an action to harm them.

I believe the U.S. was not justified for doing Manifest Destiny because it violated the basic rights of other races and people. For example, the Americans were so greedy for land in the west they made the Native Americans move from their own land. This created the Trail of Tears which killed many Natives, so the westward expansion took many lives. In fact, because of Manifest Destiny, Americans felt that their culture and lifestyle are superior to other different people, so Americans forced their beliefs on other men and women of a separate culture.
