Some Notes on Industrialism

Hello, APUSH'ers:

Here are your HW Assignments for the week of 3/5/2013.  As previously stated, with regard to Homework...


1. Homework is assigned every night, unless otherwise noted. 
2. Homework is due by the following class period, unless otherwise noted. 
3. Homework must be signed by a parent, in order for a student to receive full credit for an assignment's completion.  
4. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of homework assignments, and due dates.  
5. Homework is essential for learning, and mastering the materials covered in this course. 

It is further advised, that effective 2/20/13, late assignments will no longer be accepted. 


TUESDAY 3/5/13 - 
1. Complete the DBQ "Responses to Industrialism," which we started in class today. 
2. Print a copy of the Chapter 25 Outline .  
3. Highlight the outline, and then take notes on the outline.  Your notes should be NO LONGER than one page!  

WED - DUE FRIDAY 
1. READ CHAPTER 25 (BRIEF EDITION)
2. RESTATE THE CHAPTER ID'S IN YOUR OWN WORDS
3. COMPLETE THE CHAPTER 25 GRQ'S

FRIDAY - PREPARE FOR A QUIZ MONDAY ON CHAPTERS 24/25.

Monday Night: Complete the Railroad DBQ Essay.  Please review last week's blog post for more info regarding the DBQ, including requirements for submission.    Please bear in mind that late submissions of the assignment, with the exception of students legally absent from school, will not be accepted.  

Tuesday Night:  Due THURSDAY 
1. "Attend," and take notes on any THREE of the following lectures.
Consumer Culture
Rise of Unions
Growth of Cities
Life in the City

Finish your FINAL DRAFT.  Your final draft is due FEBRUARY 26th.

Complete the Chapter 26 ID's and GRQ's.  Please check last week's post for the GRQ's and chapter.  Please note that you were emailed the ID's.  Your job is to highlight the ID's, and re-state them in your own words.  

Tuesday: Podcast Tuesday!  

Complete one of the following. If you do both Podcasts, you get double HW credit. Please generate notes on the Podcast Sheet for each one that you do.  If you are unable to access the Podcast Sheet, by clicking the link below, it has been emailed to your WJPS email address.
