Manifest Destiny Webquest

Hello, APUSHers:

This is our final assessment for the first semester.

CLICK HERE for the Webquest. You can start working on the webquest this weekend. Please note that we will have some time to work on this assignment in class, but you will need to work on the assignment outside of school. You will also be responsible for any other assignments due this week.

Please note that "technical issues" will not be an acceptable excuse for completing the assignment.

APUSH Assignments/Announcements Week of 12/13/2010

1. Continue Reading 5-7 pages per night.
2. Highlight, outline, and rewrite your notes daily.
3. INDIVIDUAL TAKE HOME EXAM!!!
  • Topics covered from 1815-1850 (Chapters 12-15, with a little bit of 16!)
  • We will start in class 8th Period on Friday.

PLEASE NOTE THAT...
1) UNLESS YOU ARE LEGALLY ABSENT FROM SCHOOL, HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE ON THE DATE THAT THEY ARE ASSIGNED.
2) LATE WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
3) "I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND," OR "TECHNICAL ISSUES" ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE EXCUSES FOR FAILURE TO COMPLETE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS.

1. Review Lecture 25 and complete a podcast/lecture sheet.
2. PODCAST - CLICK HERE for a link to the podcasts on antebellum reform. Choose ONE of the podcasts to listen to, and complete a podcast/lecture sheet. You are ONLY responsible for completing one podcast. However, if you choose to "go the extra mile" you will receive TWO HW credits for each additional podcast you do.

Tuesday - Due Date 12/16/2010 (Thursday)
3. Complete Ch. 17 ID's. (GRQ's are under construction; they will be up tomorrow.

Wednesday - Complete Tuesday's assignment

Thursday - Begin Studying for Take Home Exam

Friday - Take Home Exam is due MONDAY! 100 questions. 50 vocab, 50 mult. choice. Students who do not hand in the exam on MONDAY, will receive a grade of ZERO.

FRIDAY: Read Chapter 16, and Complete Chapter 16 Guided Reading Questions and ID's for MONDAY.
